Turbo Tourney Hosted Home Page - Change View
« on: March 21, 2021, 10:51:41 am »
Random Question - is there any way to change the view on the hosted Turbo Tourney site home page from the  "Top Players in Current Standings" to show the actual Current Standings Report as the view? Making visible the Mover/Loser, Possible Points, Pick Pct% , etc....

Sorry but there is no option for that, only the Top Players view where you can choose either current or projected standings type to display.

Actually I use a work around to show configured current standings on my home page that has worked quite well for a few years.

For home page content (on tools build website screen) check tournament rules box and no other ones (you can use tournament news if you want to send messages to entire pool).
Then:  Menu Bar:  Tournament, tournament rules - then choose Tournament rules from text file.  Use a link that connects to your current standings report (wherever it is stored on your computer) so that when you go back and build website and upload - this report ends up on your home page (I usually limit it to top 20 in standings).
Only downside is that it doubles up on the header - but the key thing is that you have fully configured current standings (I call it leaderboard actually and then change name of configurable standings report to current standings).

Pool homepage:  http://www.mysideline.com/u/2588/collegebbmens/default.htm

I have to check my notes for this each year to remember the workaround: Workaround to get leaderboard on main page:  define current standings as "Leaderboard" and then direct pool rules to the current standings html within the website page files.  Define configurable standings as "Current Standings".
Then, after updating pool results, do report, current standings and web - THEN go and build website;
Standings page workaround:  use tournament rules and have "currentstandings.htm" as the text file for tournament rules;
