Title: computer crashed
Post by: Jtuckeriii on April 05, 2021, 08:39:46 am
This morning I discovered my computer crashed and all the entries had been lost.  I am using the round-by-round repick pool.  How can I recover the lost entries?

If you select the Remote menu, then TurboTourney.com Control Panel and click on Check Status.. at the bottom are options to download all of your entries again.

That worked for the first round, but I'm running a round-by-round pool where players repick after each round.  How do I recover the info for Rounds 2-6?

You'll have continue through to the next round and then do the same thing.

I don't understand this instruction.  How do I "continue through to the next round"?

The same way you did after each round of the tournament.  I assume you selected the Tools menu, Create Repick Pool.  You'll need to do this for each round.

I retrieved the Round 1 picks, then clicked Results.  Then the results for all of the rounds appeared.  Then I created the Repick pool, but it created a repick pool for tonight's round; it did NOT create a Repick pool for Round 2.  So, as it stands now, the software does not reflect the picks for Rounds 2-5.

When you download the results now, the program is going to think it's at the current round (after final four) so if you want to create a Round 2 pool again you'll need to remove all the game results from Round 2 and beyond so the program thinks it's only the end of Round 1.  You'll have to do the same for each round until you get back to the current round.
